Throughout researches and discussions of over 10 years, Antitrust Law was passed by National People’s Congress Standing Committee and implemented in August 1st 2008. This law provides relevant stipulations on several acts covering signing monopoly agreements, controlling markets, abusing administrative power, restricting and eliminating market competitions, business centralizing into monopoly and work on antimonopoly investigations.

Due to the pass of Antitrust Law, company laws and IP laws might be influenced. The implementation of this new law still needs the suitable illustrations of other supporting regulations and policies.
